TitanCover — a motorized pergola that turns a patio into a room you'll actually use

TitanCover: a motorized pergola that turns a patio into a space you'll actually use

Most backyards get used a lot less than people think. Too much sun by mid-afternoon, a surprise shower that clears the patio, or the hassle of covering and cleaning furniture means the space is rarely ready 24/7. A TitanCover handles sun and showers at the touch of a button — and paired with our privacy screens, it makes an exposed deck feel more comfortable too.

What a TitanCover actually is

TitanCover is HIDEAWAY's motorized louvered-roof aluminum pergola. Its aluminum louvers pivot: open them flat for full sun, angle them for filtered shade and airflow, or close them tight for cover when the weather turns. Add shade screens, lights, fans and heaters to round out the space. It's our top-of-the-line pergola and shade option — a lower-price point, non automation version would be our LiteShade.

The frame is powder-coated aluminum, so it won’t rot, warp, or need repainting like a timber pergola. An integrated gutter system channels rainwater through the posts, draining from a custom location at the bottom of each one. For changing weather— hot afternoons, sudden storms, hard winters — adjustable cover, smart drainage, and leave-it-alone materials are the whole point.

Sun, shade, or cover — you decide, on the day

The reason a louvered roof beats a fixed one is that the weather changes and your patio shouldn't have to. Morning coffee in full sun, louvers open. Lunch in the heat, angle them for shade and a breeze. Rain rolls in during dinner, close them and stay put. One structure, three completely different patios, no dragging an umbrella around—and a cool party trick to wow your guests.

A single remote can operate the louvres, lights, fans, oscillating shade screens and more, with wall switch, app, rain and wind sensor compatibility varying by model.

Pair it with privacy screens for a room, not just a roof

A roof gives you cover overhead; screens give you the walls. This is where HIDEAWAY's hero product comes in — our aluminum privacy screens drop straight into the sides of a pergola to block a sightline from the neighbours, cut wind, and make the space feel like an actual room instead of an exposed platform. Because both come out of the same shop, the finish and colour match, and the screens can be sized to the exact bay you want to close in. That's the setup in the photo above: TitanCover overhead, screens down the back, and a corner you'd genuinely want to sit in.

Built here, sized to your yard

Backyards are rarely a tidy rectangle. Because we fabricate in-house, a TitanCover can be built to suit the space — the run of your deck, the spot where the power comes in, the wall you're mounting to — instead of forcing you into a fixed off-the-shelf footprint. If you're adding a gate, railing, or planters at the same time, they can all be matched to the same finish.

Homeowner or contractor

Most TitanCovers go to two kinds of buyers: homeowners upgrading their own yard, and builders/contractors speccing a shade structure into a project. If you're working from drawings, we're set up to fabricate to spec; if you're a homeowner, we'll come measure and quote. Either way it's the same build quality.
